"So, what do you do?"
Fine as an opener. The trouble is the next question, which is usually another opener. Ask about the part of their answer that had some life in it.
An AI dating coach
Rehearse real dates, get honest notes on every line, then meet people who did the same work.
The chair across from you is where it gets real. Practice it here first.
DateDove coaches young men growing into steady, kind men, young women growing into grounded, self-respecting women, and anyone getting back out there. Pick yours. The rest of this page will use it.
The why
Here's what Dove would tell you about each one.
"So, what do you do?"
Fine as an opener. The trouble is the next question, which is usually another opener. Ask about the part of their answer that had some life in it.
"Haha yeah."
A reply with nothing in it hands all the work back. Add one detail, or one question, so they have somewhere to go.
"You're really hot."
It tells them the only thing you noticed is the part they didn't choose. Compliment a choice instead: their laugh, a story, their taste.
"Sorry, I'm so bad at this."
Apologising for yourself asks them to look after you. Confidence mostly means not doing that.
"We should hang out sometime."
It feels safe because nobody can say no to it. That's also why it almost never happens. Name a day and a place.
"My ex used to..."
Now there are three people at the table. Save it for when they ask.
Every note in DateDove comes with the reason, so you can use it on a date Dove never sees.
Now say less.

Debrief
You talked 0% of the time and heard 0 of her three stories.
That's what a practice date in DateDove feels like, minus the scrolling. You talk, your partner answers, and Dove measures what each line did. At the end you get this: six skills, how much you talked, and the things they would have told you if you'd asked.

No. Dove is an AI dating coach. It's good at rehearsal, honest notes and talking a worry through. If you mention self-harm or abuse, it stops coaching and shows you real help lines, because a person on one of those lines can do things a coach can't.
AI characters, each with a job, a personality and a few things they'll only tell you if you ask well. They live inside practice dates only. They're never shown as members, and nobody in Discover is a bot.
From code, not from the model. Every line is measured for questions, follow-ups, what you shared, and anything pushy or unkind. The model writes Dove's words; the numbers are counted.
Once you have your wings, Discover shows members who fit your filters both ways, sorted by how your values answers line up. You see which answers you share before you like anyone. A match needs two likes.
Practice dates and talks are stored in your account so you can see your progress. They're sent to the AI service that writes Dove's replies, and nowhere else. You can delete any of them, or everything, whenever you like.
DateDove is free to start, including matching. Pro will raise the daily limits. It isn't on sale yet.
